CINCINNATI, Ohio-The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) has allocated over $800,000 in “Boots on the Ground” funding to 41 local grassroots organizations this year, aimed at enhancing their community impact. One notable recipient is the Partnership for Innovation in Education (PIE), which received $20,000 to support a new program at Aiken New Tech High School. This program will offer technology, supplies, and educator stipends for a year, benefiting 500 students. It includes hands-on activities with industry partners like Honda and focuses on creating career opportunities for students post-graduation.
