MAD RIVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Greenon schools’ overall report card rating dropped from 4 stars to 3.5 stars for the 2023-24 school year. However, Superintendent Darrin Knapke noted that the district achieved at least 3 stars in every category, demonstrating success in meeting state standards. A highlight of the report card was a 5-star rating in the graduation component, which improved from 4 stars the previous year. Knapke attributed this success to the district’s proactive approach in identifying students at risk of not graduating early and providing targeted support, including credit recovery options.
