AYERSVILLE, Ohio-The Ayersville Local Schools Board of Education appointed Greg Schubert as a new board member to fill the vacancy left by Amy Simonis, who resigned due to a potential conflict of interest with her employer. Schubert, a 1984 Ayersville High School graduate and former school board candidate, will serve until December 31, 2025. He has previously been involved with the school as a finance committee treasurer and supports his wife, a teacher at the school. The board also made other appointments and accepted a resignation during the meeting.
