JEROMESVILLE, Ohio- Hillsdale Local Schools held a special Veterans Day Assembly and Breakfast to honor 120 veterans and their families. The event featured vocal performances that moved attendees and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of Ashland County’s veterans. Hillsdale High School Principal Alan Keesee noted the event’s significance, with a large committee involved in its planning. Keynote speaker Staff Sgt. Collin Sipe, a 2007 graduate and Afghanistan veteran, emphasized the area’s strong military support. The event was marked by emotional moments, especially during the choir’s performance of Armed Services songs, as the community showed deep respect and appreciation for the veterans’ service. Students and staff dedicated months of preparation for the observance.
