RITTMAN, Ohio-Students at Rittman Middle School are actively supporting Wreaths Across America, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring veterans. The students are raising money and volunteering to place wreaths on the graves of fallen service members at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Seventh graders like Claire Kyanko and BraeLynn Larimore emphasize the importance of recognizing veterans’ sacrifices and ensuring no one feels alone during the holiday season. The local chapter, led by Kat Frey and Becky Clark, aims to increase wreath placements from 14,000 last year to 32,000 this year, highlighting a community-wide effort to show respect and gratitude to veterans.
