April 10th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-A Columbus Division of Police officer was arrested on charges of domestic violence threats and aggravated menacing after reportedly making threats to a woman. The incident occurred at an apartment in west Columbus, where officers responded to a call about domestic violence.
The woman played a recording of a cellphone conversation where the officer was heard making threats, and officers recognized his voice. The officer, who has been with the department since 2022, was relieved of duty after his arrest and is required to surrender his gun and badge.
