CRESTVIEW, Ohio-Crestview Middle School in Ashland County won Ohio’s DiscoverE Future City Competition for designing the top waste-free city concept. Their victory qualifies them to represent Ohio in the upcoming national competition. Teams of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders participated by researching technologies, creating city designs and models, and writing essays on the theme “A Waste-Free Future,” focusing on futuristic, waste-free urban planning.
