‘It hurts’ | North College Hill football Team Perseveres After Another Game is Postponed

NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio-North College Hill High School football coach Greg Conwell expressed the team’s determination to move forward after their game against Woodward was halted due to nearby gunfire. The Trojans were leading 19-6 when the game stopped, leaving many players in tears, feeling let down by the community. Conwell noted that the incident deprived them of their first win of the season. Despite facing disruptions, Conwell stated they will prepare for their next game against Roger Bacon on September 27. North College Hill has not completed a game since August 30, and there are concerns about postseason eligibility due to the lack of completed games. Superintendent Dr. Eugene Blalock noted the ongoing trauma for students and expressed hesitation about hosting further home games this season.
