NORTH ADAMS, Ohio-At the SHAC spring sports banquet, the 2024 Southern Hills Athletic Conference recognized the Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year. Payton Johnson from Peebles earned the Athlete of the Year title for her victories in the long jump, 100m dash, and 200m dash at the 2024 SHAC meet. Cohen Frost, the coach of the Fairfield Lady Lions, received the Coach of the Year award for leading his team to victory in the SHAC championships with 146 points.
