CANTON, Ohio-Joseph French has been appointed as the new president of Stark County Catholic Schools, succeeding Rev. Donald King. French, a native of Louisville, Ohio, holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kent State University and a master’s degree in early childhood education from Ashland University.
He was previously the CEO of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health in Stark County. French is also a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Canton. In his new role, he will oversee Central Catholic High School in Canton and St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville, starting on July 8.
