Many Ohioans sent their kids off to school in yet another morning of below-freezing temperatures.
That’s why school districts like Gahanna are cautioning parents to make sure their children are bundled up.
They urge parents to keep an eye on the weather conditions and dress their child accordingly, making sure they’re warm enough to wait for the bus.
Gahanna schools also have a program that lets the older kids take part in safety duty to keep an eye on the younger ones. Among their responsibilities is acting as a crossing guard, making sure their fellow students are crossing the slippery roads safely.
