GREENFIELD, Ohio-The McClain girls varsity soccer team capped off their historic regular season with a 2-0 win over Eastern Brown on Wednesday night in Greenfield. This victory marked their best record in program history, improving to 11-4-2 overall and securing third place in the Frontier Athletic Conference with a 4-4-2 record. The game remained scoreless until just before halftime, when Karlee McGlone scored the first goal off a deflection from the Eastern Brown goalie. In the second half, McClain increased their lead with a long shot from sophomore Paisley Pryor. Despite several scoring opportunities for both teams, the defense held strong, and the game ended 2-0.
