Last open Forum Invites Shawnee Residents to Give Feedback on Plans for Schools

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Ohio-The final open forum held on Thursday night provided Shawnee residents with an opportunity to offer feedback on plans to update the school buildings. The architectural firm SHP presented their final plan after narrowing down options based on previous forums and consultations with state officials and educators.

The proposed plan, termed 7B, involves converting Elmwood into a K-5 building through renovation and addition, along with constructing a new 6-12 building. Attendees were also given a digital survey to share their opinions, and the presentation covered financial details for the proposed construction, which aims to consolidate students into two buildings instead of the current four.
