Lawsuit could prompt emergency vote on NIL for Ohio high school athletes

A lawsuit filed in Franklin County last Thursday against the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) could lead to an emergency referendum vote on a bylaw allowing high school student-athletes to be compensated for their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Ohio is currently one of only six states that does not permit NIL for high school athletes.
