BRUMBACK, Ohio-Dozens of children gathered at The Brumback Library to engage with the Van Wert Robotics program. Nellie Schmidt, the library director, coordinated the event as part of summer programming, drawing inspiration from social media and other libraries.
The program featured demonstrations by Van Wert High School’s robotics team, showcasing robots designed for competitions. The initiative aims to spark children’s interest in robotics and promote learning through library activities. Another presentation is scheduled for July 2, extending outreach to participants of the Summer Food Program.
