LIMA, Ohio-At Lima’s North Middle School, 5th and 6th graders engaged in the “Our History Era Tour,” which brought historical events like the American Revolution, the Civil War, and Western Expansion to life. Educators noted that hands-on activities effectively captured students’ attention during the final days of school. Many students eagerly participated, even dressing up for the occasion and excitedly taking photos in themed setups. Intervention specialist Denise Kruse highlighted the positive impact of this experiential learning approach, as students looked forward to each day’s activities. With only six days left in the school year, the tour offered a memorable educational experience.
