LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools held a celebration to honor 25 teachers and district staff for their significant milestones in years of service, ranging from 20 to 40 years. Superintendent Jill Ackerman and the Board of Education recognized the dedication of these employees to education. Tina Hamilton-Shoemaker, a teacher with 20 years in the district, reflected on her experience, noting her desire to give back to the community that shaped her and the unique connection she has with former students who now work alongside her.
