LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools celebrated 25 teachers and staff members on Monday evening for their years of service, honoring those with 20 to 40 years in education. Superintendent Jill Ackerman and the Lima Board of Education recognized their contributions to the district. One honoree, Tina Hamilton-Shoemaker, a Lima Senior High School teacher and graduate of the district, shared her passion for teaching and her commitment to giving back to the community, highlighting the connection she has with her former students who now work alongside her.
