Lorain 3rd grader criminally charged in connection to school bomb threats

A third-grade girl in Lorain County has been criminally charged after police say she made two bomb threats on social media. The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office said she created a fake Facebook and made a post that said a bomb had been planted inside Clearview High School and Durling Middle School.

“I almost didn’t think it was real, to be honest, to have someone that young,” said Jacob Kyle, a 7th-grade coach at Durling Middle School. Things were back to normal at Clearview and Durling Friday but on Thursday the entire district was shut down while the FBI and the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office searched for a bomb.
