Ohio Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), also called the “Enact Advance Ohio Higher Education Act”, passed in the state senate on Feb. 12 with a 21-11 vote. The education bill, which has already moved into the state legislature’s other chamber for consideration, would reshape the way higher education is allowed to operate in the state of Ohio.
