Last week, in a parking lot on the Midview Schools campus, a decommissioned school bus could be seen flipped over on its side. But no real emergency situation was unfolding. No students or educators were in danger. Instead, officials with the Midview Transportation Department — along with first responders from the fire departments of Eaton Township and Grafton — conducted an “emergency evacuation practice” to review protocols for such scenarios.
