MAPLETON, Ohio-The Mapleton Local Schools board of education has approved a new two-year agreement with the Mapleton Teachers’ Association. This agreement entails a $500 stipend for teachers scheduled for April, a two-percent increase in base salaries for the upcoming year, adjustments to insurance deductibles, and the introduction of a spousal agreement for new employees. These terms were outlined by Superintendent Scott Smith.
