MANSFIELD, Ohio-The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center’s Adolescent Literacy Network is thriving in its second year, with 50 educators from eight school districts participating. The program unites teams of teachers and administrators from various disciplines, focusing on leadership and evidence-based literacy practices across content areas. Catherine Puster, Director of Educational Programs at Crestview Local Schools, noted the program’s effectiveness in fostering meaningful discussions about district goals and improving academic vocabulary instruction. Participants like Kori Beasley and Danny Logan from Mansfield City Schools highlighted their roles in supporting colleagues to implement literacy strategies in their classrooms.
