Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne described the recent report on rising child deaths in Cuyahoga County “somber” and “heartbreaking,” especially coming on the heels of the 2022 report, when child deaths were at a historic low.
But they serve as a clarion call to do better, he said, and the county – from health officials and policy makers down to the average citizen – needs to step up to save children.
