Morrow County Students Gain Career Insight Through Paid Internships

MT. GILEAD, Ohio-High school students in Morrow County are benefiting from paid internships offered through the Ready for Hire Program, a grant-funded initiative by Marion Goodwill and the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center. Open to grades 9-12, the program aims to enhance students’ professional and technical skills for future careers. Internships are currently available at various locations, including the Selover Public Library, Goodwill, and Mt. Gilead High School. Student Chenee Hart highlighted how her internship is helping her explore future career options. Local businesses, such as The Capitol Theatre and Woodside Village Care Center, are also seeking interns for diverse roles.
