NEW CONCORD, Ohio-Muskingum University recently hosted Groundwork Ohio’s ‘Roadshow Listening Tour’, where childcare experts gathered to discuss ways to enhance early childhood development. Groundwork Ohio’s Advocacy and Engagement Managing Director, Brittany Boulton, highlighted the organization’s statewide tour, aimed at gathering input from childcare experts to address children’s challenges.
The tour, comprising 14 stops, serves as a crucial part of their public policy-making process. Stakeholders’ feedback will be compiled into a report to be shared with the Governor’s administration and the state legislature, informing their budget-making process for the next calendar year. The event featured speakers from local schools, government and non-government organizations, as well as area healthcare providers.
