CLEVELAND, Ohio-Authorities are investigating a tragic incident in Lorain where a family dog fatally mauled 6-year-old Jaxson Dvorak at his home on East 31st Street. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, and Jaxson passed away as a result of the attack. His family, devastated by the loss, set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for funeral expenses, expressing profound grief over the sudden tragedy. The dogs involved, described as mixed breeds belonging to the family, were taken by the Friendship Animal Protection League in Elyria. As of now, no charges have been filed. Jaxson, described as a vibrant child eager to start first grade, enjoyed playing games with his brothers and was known for his infectious smile and friendly demeanor.
