New Albany, Worthington Schools Adopt Technology Used to Alert 911 in Georgia Shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Central Ohio school districts, including Worthington City Schools and New Albany-Plain Local Schools, are adopting a new wearable technology called Centegix CrisisAlert to enhance emergency response. This device, which was used at Apalachee High School during a recent shooting, allows staff to quickly alert administrators, initiate lockdowns, and contact 911. New Albany has equipped all staff with these devices to streamline emergency reporting and improve response times.
