CLEVELAND, Ohio- Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley criticized juvenile court judges on social media after a 15-year-old who brutally attacked a 57-year-old man received only 22 days in detention and was sentenced to two years’ probation following an apology. The attack, captured on video, resulted in the victim needing surgeries for a broken nose. This incident follows another involving a 15-year-old shooter at a Christmas tree lighting event in Public Square, who was later sentenced to three years in juvenile detention.
