As a recent graduate of Northmont High School who is now preparing to enter college, Englewood resident Brooke Gates understands the significance of education. While Gates plans for her future, saving money and applying for scholarships to pay for tuition, she’s also working to advocate for disadvantaged students thousands of miles away.
