The Northmont school district are poised to ask voters to approve a 3.46-mill emergency property tax levy in the May 6 primary election.
The school board approved the first of two resolutions related to the ballot measure during its most recent meeting. The board is scheduled to vote Jan. 27 on the second resolution, which will allow the Montgomery County Board of Elections to place the request on the May ballot.
