GALION, Ohio-During its August meeting, the Northmor Board of Education prepared for the upcoming school year and discussed the district’s anticipated rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars based on current state scores, with the elementary school earning four stars and the high school four and a half stars. The board also set new substitute teacher rates at $125 per day for the first 20 days and $135 per day for days 21 to 59, with the aim of attracting more substitute teachers amid a competitive job market. Previously, the rates were $100 and $105, respectively.
