The highest-ranked public school district in Montgomery County is now part of a growing coalition of more than 340 districts challenging the constitutionality of the state’s EdChoice voucher program. The Oakwood City Schools Board of Education voted recently to join the statewide Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy and the Vouchers Hurt Ohio lawsuit. Cost to the district is $2 per pupil — around $4,000 — for the 2025-26 academic year, according to the resolution.
