AKRON, Ohio-Akron Police officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex where a 15-year-old girl had been shot multiple times. They found her bleeding on the ground and provided first aid, including applying a tourniquet, until EMS arrived.
The girl was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police are investigating the incident, believing it resulted from an altercation, and are seeking information from the public to identify the suspect(s).
