In June, a Franklin County judge ruled that Ohio’s EdChoice program is partially unconstitutional. EdChoice is a scholarship program paid out of the state budget, where parents can send their child to private schools instead of their local public school. A coalition of school districts and superintendents, titled Vouchers Hurt Ohio, filed a lawsuit claiming to use tax payer money to send students to private schools is wrong — and Judge Jaiza Page agreed.
