The ratings are on a star scale from one to five, with three stars indicating state expectations are met, and higher scores representing superior performance. The components include state test results, graduation rates, early literacy improvements, and how well districts address achievement gaps and reduce absenteeism. Report cards will be available on Friday, and they will be provided for individual schools as well as the overall district.
