COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced the playoff pairings on Sunday following the conclusion of the regular season. First-round games are scheduled for Friday, November 1, at 7 p.m. The top eight seeds in each region will host the games, with a total of 448 schools qualifying for the postseason for the third consecutive year. In Division I, several matchups include Cleveland St. Ignatius (1-9) against Mentor (10-0) in Region 1, and Cincinnati Sycamore (1-9) facing Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller (9-1) in Region 4, among others. Each region features multiple matchups, highlighting the competitive landscape of Ohio high school football.
