LEWIS CENTER, Ohio -Olentangy Orange High School Principal Monica Asher expressed her grief over President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in a message to staff, urging them to “move towards the light” despite the election outcome. In a staff newsletter for the week of Nov. 11, Asher acknowledged the “pain, uncertainty, and division” she had witnessed since the election and expressed uncertainty about how to guide her colleagues moving forward. She acknowledged the struggles of staff members who were grappling with how to support both students and colleagues with differing political views.
