The Olentangy School Board voted unanimously Thursday night to put a bond issue on the ballot this fall. If approved by voters, it would pay to construct, furnish, and equip a new elementary school and a new high school. According to district leaders, the district has grown by over 5,000 students in the past ten years. In order to provide a safe learning environment, district leaders feel they need to build two new schools sooner rather than later.
