Patrick Henry Archery Club Hitting Its Mark With Growth And Success

HAMLER, Ohio-The Patrick Henry archery club, initiated 17 years ago by gym teacher Jim Creager with a grant from the State Division of Wildlife, has thrived under the guidance of head coach Todd West. Competing in the National Archery in the Schools Program, the team achieved notable success, including highest overall team score in 2023 and state runner-up in 2024 in the elementary division.

With over 150 participants spanning fourth to twelfth grade, the club has fostered a supportive environment for both boys and girls. Notable members like Brandyn Keith, Gunner Seeman, and Trevor Maas have excelled in competitions, with Brandyn gearing up for the NASP Championship in Daytona, Florida. The club aims to expand the sport’s presence in northwest Ohio and encourages new teams to join. The camaraderie and progress experienced by members highlight the club’s positive impact on participants and their families.
