COLUMBUS, Ohio-Two teenagers have been apprehended following a shooting incident at Easton Town Center on Saturday evening, as reported by the Columbus Division of Police. The shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Gramercy Place, near the mall’s center, just before 8:50 p.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but a business was hit by gunfire.
Although the mall was not locked down, access to certain areas, including the West Garage, was restricted. Easton Town Center management stated that they are cooperating with the police investigation and that only specific areas were affected by the incident. The 17-year-old and 16-year-old suspects face charges including felonious assault, discharging firearms on prohibited premises, and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
