COLUMBUS, Ohio-Early Saturday morning, a shooting occurred on the city’s west side in the South Franklinton neighborhood. The Columbus Division of Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Canonby Place around 12:15 a.m.
They found a juvenile victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was stabilized. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and no suspect information has been released at this time.
