A juvenile was injured in a shooting Saturday evening in west Columbus, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the 5100 block of West Broad Street just before 7:20 p.m. on a report of a person who was shot. Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the juvenile walked into OhioHealth Doctors Hospital after the shooting and was later transferred to Grant Medical Center. They are expected to recover from their injuries.
The victim told police that the shooting occurred around the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive, near the Wedgewood Village Apartments.
