Prizes Awarded to BGHS Senior Show Artists

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-The awards for Bowling Green High School’s Senior Art Show, currently exhibited at Four Corners Center in downtown BG, were announced on Monday. Art teacher Nicole Myers highlighted the qualities required for participation in Senior Studio, emphasizing great work ethic, creativity, independent motivation, and a commitment to art throughout all four years of high school.

The 19th annual show features the work of 26 seniors, the largest number in Senior Studio history. Among the participants were Savannah Artiaga, Hannah Brose, Brittney Bushman, and others. Awards totaling $1,000 were sponsored by various businesses, organizations, and individuals. Winners included Miranda Lentz for the PTO Purchase Award and Micah Smith for the 2-D purchase award, selected by Matt Reger for its detail and overall display. Sydney Mason’s artwork was also recognized and will be displayed on the second floor of the high school.
