HIGHLAND, Ohio-The Highland County Republican Women’s Club recently awarded scholarships to six outstanding seniors from various high schools and vocational schools in the county. Named after long-time GOP supporters Kay Ayers and Margaret Van Frank, the scholarships are highly competitive, with applicants evaluated based on academic achievements, essays, extracurricular activities, and future goals.
The selection process was challenging due to the high caliber of applicants, but Allison Rocky, Hayden Barrera, Lydia Carr, Addyson Miles, Bryson Willey, and Hunter Miller emerged as this year’s deserving recipients. The club extends congratulations to the winners and gratitude to all who applied, acknowledging the exceptional talent among Highland County’s graduating seniors in 2024.
