RIVERSIDE, Ohio-The Riverside Board of Education approved the purchase of a new reading curriculum for the elementary school at a cost of $104,403, spread over six years. The chosen curriculum, Amplified, is aligned with the science of reading and is expected to benefit students’ education.
Principal Bryce Hodge recognized four elementary students with perfect attendance, each receiving a $50 gift certificate. Athletic Director Rod Yoder highlighted the achievements of several athletes in softball, baseball, and track, including TRC records. Middle School and High School Principal Kelly Kauffman reported on the need to update the district’s cell phone policy due to recent legislation, acknowledging students with perfect attendance and holding a drawing for an Xbox.
