CINCINNATI, Ohio-The School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati will implement increased security on Friday following an “unsubstantiated threat” reported on Thursday. Classes will proceed as usual, but extra precautions will be in place. Cincinnati Public Schools emphasized their commitment to addressing threats seriously by coordinating with local police for investigations. This incident follows several threats made against schools in the Greater Cincinnati area since the start of the academic year in August. Earlier on Thursday, Archbishop Moeller High School experienced a brief lockdown due to a separate threat before receiving an all-clear.
