WEIRTON, Ohio-Cathie Brenda Yeager, outreach chairperson at First Christian Church in Weirton, presented a donation of school supplies to Weirton Elementary School. This donation, from the church’s congregation, supports the school’s annual Backpack Resource Fair. The fair, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, helps prepare students for the new school year. The church, led by Rev. Mark Mayer, is committed to supporting students each year.
