SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio-Dallas Burns, a senior at Shaker Heights, has accomplished an extraordinary feat by earning a college diploma before her high school graduation. She graduated with an associate’s degree in business administration from Franklin University through Ohio’s College Credit Plus Program.
This initiative allows students to earn college credits alongside high school ones, for free. Dallas, following in her mother’s footsteps, found the experience challenging but manageable.
