NORWALK , Ohio-Students from various schools in Huron County participated in a spelling bee held at the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center. The event included 58 students from grades 4-8 who had won spelling bees at their respective schools.
Following the standards of the Scripps National program, participants received certificates, and the top four contestants earned trophies. Breydon Perry from Mainstreet Elementary emerged as the champion, followed by Addison Maitland from Monroeville as the runner-up. Emma Buck from Western Reserve and Jacen Tetters from League Elementary School secured the third and fourth places, respectively.
